Our county party’s primary focus is on finding good candidates to run against local extremists who embrace Project 2025.  If that is of interest to you, scroll down to the next section.

1. Knowledge is power!  Choose a local board or commission and find out what’s happening by attending meetings in person or virtually.  Get a couple of friends to join you and take turns.  You don’t need to speak.  Just be present – observe, listen, and learn.  If you encounter any issues of concern, email Chair@jcdemocrats.org. 

The Jackson County Democratic Party has NO paid staff, and we receive NO financial assistance from the national party and very little from the state party.  Our operating expenses are modest.  Our major expenditures are primarily in support of local Democrats who step up to run for elected office. We hope you’ll agree that supporting them is worth your investment!
